Sifu Zhong Luo was born and raised in Foshan, China, in the southern state of Guangdong, where his father, "Mai Yu" Qiang Luo is a famous kung fu teacher and Lion Dancing coach. Zhong's training began early when he was sent to acrobat school.

His training progressed from acrobatics to wrestling and his father's specialties, Long Ying (Dragon Style) and Bak Mei (White Eyebrow) kung fu. His education was tried and tested on the streets, where his street fighting skills became legend. His father had a similar background, having seen the cultural revolution and times so tough he was forced to fight in illegal no-holds-barred tournaments to feed his family.

This intensity and dedication came with Zhong as he made his way to San Francisco and decided to teach his unique knowledge. His school, White Dragon Kung Fu, is always a threat at area tournaments and his students are known for their intensity and skills.

Both he and his father have appeared on numerous magazine covers, articles, and TV appearances. His pool of students, coming both to the class and the private lessons, numbers over 500, and is growing rapidly, now that the new school is open!
